Published January 1, 2010 | I am now in La Ceiba Honduras and want to know the cheapest way to travel from where I am to Belize City. I was thinking about taking local buses but would not know how to continue once at the Guatemalan border. What local buses are there that connect from San pedro Sula for example to Guatemala and then Guatemala to Belize. And if the boat is an option from where. And also is it safe
There is only one land crossing from Guatemala to Belize. You’d have to go North to Flores to catch a bus to Belize.
