Hello. I am 25 years old and would like to travel to Mexico for the first time with three of my friends during the holiday season (around December 26-January 1). I would prefer an all-inclusive place with a vibrant party scene, great food, tourism & discount shopping. Would you please suggest a place in Mexico for us? Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun…anywhere is fine! We have champagne dreams but a beer budget…PLZ HELP! ![]()
Just got back this last week. Cancun is a wonderful place to visit. The water is crystal blue; there are a plethora of things to do and sites to see. A week should give you plenty of time to explore Cancun and the surrounding areas. Rent a car so you can get off the usual tourist paths and create your own personalized adventure. Don’t miss the Tulum ruins and the surrounding cenotes about two hours south of Cancun. These underground cave systems are a great place to cool off after a hot day at the beach or the ruins. I recommend Cenote Azul (popular with locals), across from Hotel Barcelo on the main drag to Tulum. Hopefully going again in October!!!
My husband and I were thinking of taking a vacation in Mexico this February. I have started searching online, and it becomes overwhelming. Do you have any suggestions? We have airline miles, so we’re looking for an all-inclusive hotel (including meals and drinks) where we can enjoy the beach, relax and have fun. By the way, I’m in my late 30s and he’s in his early 40s, so we’re not "spring breakers." If you’ve been to Mexico and you have suggestions, I’d love to hear from you. Thanks!
check out Dreams Puerto Vallarta. beautiful place, almost all rooms are ocean view, and it’s smaller so not a lot of kids. look on Trip Advisor for great reviews and traveler pictures of all the resorts, that can help narrow down your choices. i went to Dreams last year and it was definitely my favorite so far. Plus, puerto vallarta is a great place!
