Anyone ever been to Belize and has any advice on travel?
What’s the one totally beautiful thing I can’t miss?
Anything from places to see, where to stay and great places to eat would be helpful. Plus any safety advice.

Things I’m planning on doing there:
*Staying on the beach (Budget is an issue but I’d love to stay in one of those Cabanas on the beach for a least a couple of nights.)
*Snorkeling
*Kayaking
*Seeing Mayan Ruins
*A hike through the jungle.

**I’ll be traveling with my partner and will be there for a week and a half.

I was in Belize two weeks ago. We went snorkeling. The waves were pretty rough, but it was fun. I enjoyed snorkeling in Roatan, Honduras better. I heard a lot of positive things about the cave tubing.
