What are some travelling tips for Belize?

Our school might be doing of a mission trip in Belize, do you have any travelling tips?

I have been to Belize in 2001 and it was awesome! We had so much fun. Make sure to bring bug repellant for the tiny sand flies, sun screen for the hot sun and don’t go snorkling in the clear waters for a long time, or you’ll look like a fried lobster. Trust me, I did it and my ankles and back swool and I couldn’t walk very far for a couple of days. I practically lived in the shower and my bed. The people are really nice, I found and the scenery beautiful. If I had a chance to go back again, I would in a heart beat! Oh ya and the food it awesome!
By the way, just out of curiosity, what area is your mission trip going to if it schedules to go?

Under travel why do they not have the country Belize listed.?

This is a beautiful little country next to Mexico and has the second largest barrier reef in the world on top of being a grand place for scuba diving.

I guess it has to do with who created the list that you are looking at and why. I live in Belize now but 3 to 4 years ago I had no idea the country existed. A country of about 300,000 does not register on everyone’s "radar" screen.

Where would a Belizean National need to go to obtain a Travel Visa to visit Colombia.Is An Embassy near Belize?

Is December a good time to travel to Miami, the grand caymans, honduras, belize, and costa maya?

Going on a cruise and want to make sure it will be something I can enjoy at this time of year.

Yes, I am already booked for December 8th and going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Key West.. The last time I did a winter cruise it was in January and it was rather cool in Ft Lauderdale (just north of Miami) but as we got further south the air temperature went up. When we stopped at a private island in the Bahamas for a beach party the weather was nice for sunning but the water temp was brisk/cold and so much so that very few people got in the water. However as we were further south to St Thomas the beach was great and so was the water. So you may not enjoy the water in Miami, but the water temps should be fine for the rest of your cruise and so should the overall weather.
