I would recommend two of my favourite resort which are both near Singapore:

1 Banyan Trees – Bintan

It just a 30 min boat ride away. One of the most luzurious resort you can find around here. Some of the rooms come with it own outdoor jacuzzi which is well hidden with natural florage so you have do skinny dipping in your own private area. If you like the beach … they have their own private beach as well.

2 Dusit Resort – Hua Hin Thailand

A great peaceful resort that is more for the local rather than tourist to thailand.

pulau redang of malaysia… or the nearby island…
phuket of thailand, or even better krabi of thailand.

if not it wld be bali of indonesia

or cebu in philippines….

or worse come to worse.. sentosa beach.

I would recommend our very own beaches here in the Philippines.:
1. Boracay Island
2. El NIdo resort in Palawan
3. Mactan Island in Cebu

Google these beaches and you’ll find spectacular photos. I would also recommend spending new year’s eve in Boracay.

The nearest is to take a ferry to Desaru Malaysia from Tanah Merah Ferry terminal. about 2 hours boat ride and free direct hotel transfer from the ferry terminal. Not much crowd and very good tide.
